One minute they’re our kids, now they’re almost half the workforce. The Millennial generation has surpassed Baby Boomers as the nation’s largest living generation, according to population estimates by the U.S. Census Bureau. Millennials, whom we define as those ages 21-37 in 2018, now number 80.4 million, surpassing the 72.9 million Baby Boomers (ages 54-72). And Generation X (ages 38-53 in 2018) is projected to pass the Boomers in population by 2028.
